Deciding to purchase a home is one of the biggest decisions and wisest investments you can make. This is why you want to work with someone who understands and will meet your needs. Whether you are a first-time buyer or more experienced, you will benefit tremendously from having us on your side.
Before actively searching for your home, you should locate the following people:
Lender or mortgage broker
This individual will assist you in choosing the best mortgage loan for you, and will help you get pre-approved. By being pre-approved for a loan, the seller will be assured that you will follow through with your payment.
Once you and the seller have negotiated the purchase price, your inspector will inspect the property and make note of each item that is not working properly. These malfunctioning items will be used as negotiation tools between your and the seller's attorney.
Real estate attorney
Your real estate attorney will guide you through the closing process once you find your home. The attorney serves as your representative and will work with the seller's attorney to arrive at a mutual agreement. This agreement usually includes work that must be done to the property before you move in. Most importantly, your attorney also ensures that the whole process is legal.
